Glory is an intelligent and critical thinker, usually considering a problem before taking action, although she can behave rashly and illogically under pressure. While not often physically affectionate, she is a brave and reliable friend, often pushing aside her own needs and well-being for that of others. She used to think that she could do everything herself, as she stated in Winter Turning. Glory is shown to be brave and selfless, insisting on being one of the first RainWings to enter the NightWing island during the rescue of the RainWing prisoners in The Dark Secret. According to Qibli, she is well known for being a fair, kind and good queen. Upon meeting Winter, she beckoned him to walk beside her as an equal and greeted him as visiting royalty. Clay has described her as beautiful, smart, and unbothered by what others say about her. However, she refused to shield Webs, one of her former guardians, showing that she still hates the Talons of Peace for keeping them under a mountain. It also has made her respect the peace of the rainforest, as shown when Darkstalker came with the NightWings. She has been shown to care about her friends and has become calmer and more composed since becoming a queen. However, Glory's punishment for Icicle was fair, and Glacier stated that she was an unusual queen for choosing a path toward peace and cooperation over clear and simple vengeance. She has a steely ferocity about her, and Deathbringer described her as reckless. When Moonwatcher suggested that Glory return to the RainWing village for her own safety, she snorted as though she was sure she could handle anything. Glory is often depicted as snarky, snide, sarcastic (being called the "Queen of Sarcasm" by Sunny), bold, aloof, judgmental, brave, and impatient with anyone lazy or stupid (specifically her RainWing subjects). This is because she likes them to match the leaves around her and the rainforest she lives in. Therefore, she is usually seen with dark emerald green scales and flares of orange around her ears and the underside of her wings.
Unlike most RainWings, Glory tries to keep her scales from showing emotions. She has soft wings, feathery ears, a long body, tail, and neck, and a long, delicate snout. Glory has green eyes and brilliant color-changing scales that are dull in comparison to other RainWings'.
